Good Morning Tawnya!!

I organize/clean closets/etc in Jan/Feb a lot too.  Just seems to get the New Year started off right...and then I don't do it again till the next new year.  LOL  Have a great day!!  Menu planning is the way to go!!  I do so much better not only with my eating habits but also with the budget when I do menus.  Take care!!

Good morning train riders..what a lovely chilly morning it is.  I've bought and returned 2 different heaters this week, now I'm trying out a third one.  I'm trying not to heat the WHOLE house when we're in one room but the "large room" heaters i keep buying aren't cutting it.  I bought a new one yesterday and it seems to be a little better.

Apparently it wasn't a good idea to feed my dogs leftover prime rib yesterday.  2 of the 3 pooped in their crates last night.  (Either that or they wouldn't go outside before bedtime cuz it was too cold).  So I got to clean it up first thing this morning and will have to wash all their linens today.  Jeesh, KIDS!!

Poor Clay walked outside to find a flat tire this morning.  He just bought them on Christmas Eve so I guess he picked up a nail yesterday.  Aired it up and headed out to Walmart to get it fixed.

I'll be around all day if anyone has any cruise questions.  I STILL need everyone to send me their FULL NAMES and who's going to be in their cabin.  Looks like I'll be booking a little later to give people time to gather up their money.

Good Morning Stephanie!!

Hope you are able to figure out which heater you need/want.  It's a chore to get the heating "just right" isn't it?  We've been in this place for 3 winters now and I'm still working on it....  UGH....

Sorry to hear about the mess you got up to this morning.  Is it something in the air?  We've had problems with our dogs too.  I don't blame them though.  I don't like going out in the cold either!  Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

Good morning Train Riders!  I'm up and at em again this morning.  Yesterday was a very productive day and I ended up working early and late getting lots of stuff done.  It all works out as I've got a doc appt today and Jeff has one tomorrow.  I think I'm one of the weird ones looking forward to the cold.  I love winter, with or without snow and love when I get to bundle up or curl up under blankets.  I do feel bad for the dogs though because they don't have much in the way of fur and they won't wear coats.

I did my new work out video for the first time yesterday and discovered two very important things.  One, I must get a sports bra!  My pretty ones are not designed to work with lots of movement.  Second, my legs are a mess!  I got a pre-natal work out video thinking that it would be lower impact and probably right up my alley right now.  Well I did the low-intensity, low-impact pilates lower body work out and it kicked my butt!  I couldn't do all of the reps.  So, I've got work ahead of me to build up my strength and flexibility.

Today I'm meeting with my PS for my 1 year follow up, then I have a meeting at church to plan some women's events for this year.  Not sure exactly what we're going to do, but we'll figure it out.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Good Morning Debbi!!

WTG on the workout video.  Keep up the good work....once you get a sports bra, that is.  :)  Remember, take it slow and easy.  Soon you'll be needing a new video because this one won't challenge you.  Looking forward to seeing that post!

Have a great day!!

Texting changed my life.  I know, sounds silly, but it did!  I'm a special ed inclusion teacher.  I cover grades K-5 on my campus and serve kids in some way or another in about 30 teacher's rooms.  I have a classroom, but am never in there more than about 5 minutes at a time.  My principal allows us to text during the day, so teachers are always letting me so-and-so isn't here today or someone's having a melt down or someone else needs a test read to them!  I average about 10,000-12,000 texts a month.  But texting really improved my job performance because I know immediately when someone needs something rather than having to constantly going back to my classroom to check my email!  Of course, my friends and family know that I have my phone all day, so they send things all the time too...and facebook lets me know when I get new messages there too!   So yes, texting changed my life...but not nearly as much as my DVR...but that's a whole 'nuther issue!  :)

BTW, I live in Pampa, TX.  That's NORTH of Amarillo.  We are looking at windchills of 15-20 BELOW ZERO on Thursday.  I'm also so over winter...and the TX Panhandle--DFW here I come--5 months and counting!

Hey You Guys!

Back at work for a second day! The kids are with us today. It was miserable cold this morning. I started the truck and let it run for a few minutes. By the time I got in it was almost warm inside. I stopped at McD's and got a coffee and a drink and still made it to work on time. I guess my day is going well so far.

We got a mattress warmer for Christmas and one side of it sends an Error message after about 5 minutes and turns itself off. I tried taking it back to Kohl's yesterday but they were out. So was every store in a 100mile radius, as well as the online store too. I will be anxiously checking the Kohl's website daily until I can order a new one. It's amazing how spoiled one can get in such a short amount of time.

Dirk had to work a derailment last night and didn't get home until 2am. Right now I feel like ships passing in the wind. I don't have any meetings scheduled this week so maybe we can catch up sometime. We have FFA meetings for two different schools (kaylee and the girls are in different districts), Senior parents meetings, Rodeo meetings, and then just the work stuff on top. Fortunately we have a week to ease back into life and meeting frenzy. Next week alone I have five meetings.

Texting: Just ask Gina, Jon and Loralea....   I'm a huge texter! Love it! I'm always worried about calling at an inconvenient time so texting pretty much solves it. I can even text "call me" and it takes the worry out of it. I think the downside of texting is that it has taken away some quality time though. I know that when I text I just give the facts, personal phone calls relay a whole lot more information.

I can't wait until tomorrow!

Gotta get something done here so I can earn this huge paycheck (I work for a school district) lol

Love you guys!

Morning Tracey!!

I agree with you about texting.  It does take the personal aspect out of it...but I love it anyway.  :) I'd rather text than talk on the phone. But, then again.....  Hope you are able to get a new mattress warmer soon.  It's too cold to be without!!  Flannel sheets are awesome this time of year too.  :)

Have a great week back at work.  Sounds like it's started off good already. Enjoy!

Good Morning TMB!!

I'm Baaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkk!!!  LOL  In an effort to get B2B and on the right track - and lose 20 pounds I've regained - I am going to do my BEST to get on the TMB everyday to post and read.  I need the accountability the Train and the BTB posts give me.  Love to socialize on FB...but I've found I NEED OH/TMB to do what I'm supposed to do.  :)

So, I'm here again.  Did you miss me??  :)

Texting...OMG Alissa... YES!!!  I love to text. I love my Blackberry.  I have it charged and with me at all times.  It charges every night on my bedside table so if I wake up during the night I can play on it for a while before going back to sleep...checking in on FB and any texts or e-mails I may have received since going to bed.  Sad, yes...but that's me.  LOL

Hope everyone is doing okay.  I've missed the daily contact on here.  It's my own fault, I admit.  So, I'm doing what I need to do and getting back on here with y'all.  Hugs and kisses all around.  Love to everyone and prayers for all - no matter who you are, what you are dealing with and whether or not I know about it.  God knows and that's what matters.  :)

I miss you Susan, allot.  I'm glad to see you here, I've been hit and miss too.  Not exactly sure why but I believe it's time many of us oldtimers (yes we are considered oldtimers now, lol) get back to posting for accountability and support.

That missing puzzle piece needs to be found so all of us can regroup, refocus, and go forward.

I wish Train Man, David, would peek in occassionally I'm missing him big time too.  DAVID, come backkkkkkkkk!

Hugs,
